MIAMI – strach z aligatorů v Everglades a idylkové Fort Lauderdale

To jsem si takhle jednu šla splnit sen a vlastně takovou výzvu v jednom. Chtěla jsem na Floridě jet na airboat za aligátorama. Háček byl ale v tom, že z nich mám vlastně strašnej strach. Stejný, jako ze štírů a větší než ze žraloků 😀 . Mně přijdou jako strasně hustý stvoření. Jsou „nepřemožitelný“ na souši a ve slaný i sladký vodě. Mám z nich teda respekt a jet na airboats za nima znamelo moje obě rozklepaný kolena. V tomhle článku tedy o výletu do Everglades a do Fort Lauderdale. Let´s go!

Ok. So this was the days I made my dream come true at the same time as I was facing my big fear/or challenge. I really wanted to take the airboat trip in Everglades to see the alligotars. The problem was that I am a bit scared of them. I think they are really cool animals, they are fast in the water, on the ground and are simply unbeatable! I have big respect of them! But it did not stop me to go to see them (with my really shaky knees). In this post I take you to the Everglades and Fort Lauderdale! Let´s go!

Na airboats jsme jeli přímo SEM. Našli jsme to na TripAdvisoru. Bylo to skvěle hodnocené a nebylo to daleko, ani nijak předražené. Je plno možností, kam jet, jakou tour zvolit nebo třeba i takovou farmu. Za mě to určitě doporučuju, ať už zvolíte to nejideálnější pro vás. My jeli na hodinovou tour za středně velkými aligátory. Musím jen ale říct, že kdyby bylo teplejší počasí, tak jich tam vidíte víc. My měli zimu. Dokonce nám tu první jízdu (pár dní zpátky) zrušili a přebookovávali jsme to kvůli počasí. Bylo vtipný, že my vlastně tuhle jízdu málem nestihli :D. Jeli jsme totiž na adresu setkání a tam byla benzínka, tak jsem se divili, projeli to kolem a já jim zavolala, že máme asi blbou adresu. No, on to byl nakonec jen pick up point, kde jsme se všichni auta potkali a jelo se dál k těm airboats. Naštěstí ale na nás počkali, ale pak si z nás dělali srandu :D. Byli to fajn týpci. Kvůli tomu počasí jsme se báli, že nic neuvídíme, ale nakonec to bylo super! Měli jsme kapitána Willieho, o kterém každý psal, jak je super a taky že byl! Povídal strašně zajímavé věci a pořák nějak vtipkoval. Třeba nám říkal, jak ta zeleň čistí vodu, že je až neuvěřitelně čistá, proto tam ta zvířata zůstavají. Vyprávěl i o historii, jak domorodci ze stébel té vysoké trávy dělali obinadla, protože ten vnitřek hodně saje. Mohla bych si tu tour klidně prodloužit a vyzvídat dál :D.

We chose the trip with Airboats Everglades – THESE. We found it on TripAdvisor (surprisingly). The reviews were pretty good and it wasn´t that far or expensive. There are plenty of options which trip to take, how far or even the to visit a farm with alligators. It´s up to you which one you choose. I think all of them are awesome! We had one hour trip to see the middle size alligators. Not those really big ones :D. If there was warmer weather, we would have seen more. In the cold weather like we had you are happy meet few „boys“. Actually, this was our second try to undertake this trip as they canceled the one we ordered for the day before. It was funny that we almost didn´t make this one! We couldn´t find the meeting point. In the end I had to call them so they told us where to go and there were making fun of us in the rest of the trip 😀 Ok, there was really nice atmosphere :D. We had captain Willie. He was the best! He told us so many interesting facts about Everglades and alligators. How the grass in the water is actually cleaning it, so the animals can live there. How in the grass is hidden bandage (the white „stuffing“) etd. He was also joking all the time 😀 I wouldn´t mind prolonging the trip and ask more about the area!

Potom jsme ale dojeli k těm aligátorům! Mně se začala klepat kolena a pozorovala jsem je opatrně. Nakonec bych si klidně jednoho toho malého aligátorka klidně vzala domů :D. Willie nám říkal, že oni se vlastně těch lodí bojí a nedovolí si vyskočit, i když jsou na ně už zvyklí. No, člověk nikdy neví, ale bylo fajn je vidět, jak si tam hoví a proplouvají kolem. Opravdu OBROVSKÝ zážitek!

Then it was the alligators time! Wow, my knees really started to shake! I was watching the alligators really carefully. In the end I would like to take little one back home :D. Willie told us how they are actually afraid and used to the airboats. Well, you never know, so it is better to be carefull but it was so nice to see them swimming along the boat. So wonderful experience!

Potom jsme vyrazili dál, za místním ptactvem a jevy přírody. Bylo to strašně fajn. Sice jsem trochu zmrzla, protože jsem se nestihla převlíknout v autě do dlouhých kalhot, kvůli tomu našemu pozdnímu příjezdu, ale na to jsem pak zapomněla :D.

Then we went further to see the birds and unique nature. It was so nice. Well, I was a bit freezing as I didn´t have time to change into my long pants (because of us being late). But I forgot about it in the end!

Po tom aligátorském zážitku jsme si ještě udělali výlet do Fort Lauderdale. Byli jsme rádi, že neprší, tak jsme si to chtěli užít. To město mi doporučit brácha, že je to super místo i na život. Museli jsme to teda očíhnout! No a měl pravdu! Byli jsme tam pár hodin, ale i tak mě to okouzlilo! Hlavně mi to tam přišlo takové útulnější a přátelštější! Nebo to bylo tim sněhulákem s písku :D.

After the adventure with alligators we decided to take a trip to Fort Lauderdale. We were so happy it wasn´t raining so we wanted to make most of it! The city was recommended by my brother that he wouldn´t mind living there. So we had to check that out! He was pretty right! We were there for a few hours and it was enought to fell in love with the place! I really liked its friendly and cosy vice! It offers you everything and you feel really welcomed there! Or it was thanks to the snowman slash sandman :D.

Celý pobyt v Miami jsem se těšila, až si zajdeme do Cheesecake Factory a tady to konečně přišlo! Jak já byla nadšená :D. Přejedli jsme se ale až tak moc, že jsme si dortík vzali domů na další den na snídani. Přece jen nás tam chytali křeče z jídla, tak jsme si už dávali pozor :D. Pokud budete na Floridě, tak Fort Lauderdale (i Everglades) doporučuju! A must je i ta Cheesecake Factory! Mějte se krásně a těším se u dalšího článku!

The whole time in Miami I was dreaming about dinner at the Cheesecake Factory. And finally – it was there! You can imagine how happy I was! In the end we ate too much that we decided to take out the cake to have it for breakfast another day. It was better for us as we had the stomach problems :D. When you´ll be on Florida, I definitely recommend you visiting Fort Lauderdale (and Everglades)! A must is the Cheesecake Factory as well, of course! Let me know if you have visited any of those!
