NEW YEARS EVE IN MIAMI // SILVESTR

Ahoj! Nevím jak vy, ale já se vždy na Silvestr těším! Baví mě to už od malička, ať už jsem byla s rodiči v obýváku a koukala na televizi nebo potom časem s partou lidí. Nikdy by mě ale nenapadlo, že budu někdy slavit nový rok na pláži, u palem a oceánu! Aneb ano, dnešní článek je o Silvestru v Miami Beach!

Hi! I don’t know how about you but I am every year super excited of New Year’s Eve! Since I was child I’ve always liked it. Either being with parents in our living room or later with group of friends. But I never expect celebrating it on the beach, under the palm trees by the ocean! Oh yes! This post is about NYE in Miami Beach!

Přes den byl klídek. Podle předpovědi to měl být poslední hezký den, tak jsem šla na chvíli na pláž. Pozorovala jsem vlny, jestli náhodou nebudou na surf. Pak jsem si lehla s knížkou a prostě relaxovala. Když už pak byl vítr silnější a studenější, tak jsem se šla projít a tak různě se kochala okolím. Nikdy se toho nenabažím. Pak jsem šla na hotel a večer jsme zamířili do města. Po té zkušenosti s Downtownem při výletu do Wynwoodu (článek ZDE) jsme se rozhodli zůstat na Miami Beach. Je plno míst, kam na Silvestra v Miami zajít :).

The day was so relaxing. According to the forecast it was supposed to be last sunny day so I went to the beach. I watched the waves, if they’d become good for surfing (they didn’t 😀 ) . Then I just lied down with a book and had such a relaxing time -“chillax”.When the wind became stronger I decided to go for a walk and look around, watch people working out, palm trees and all the preparations for the NYE night. I’ll never have enough of it! Then I went to the hotel and we made the decision to stay in Miami Beach for the celebrations. There are so many places to go to celebrate it and watch fireworks so we were definitely decided.

Kam jít na novoroční večeři byla taky otázka. Bylo nutný si udělat rezervaci pár dní dopředu, protože se to všechno strašně plnilo. Nakonec to padlo na TGI Friday’s, protože už jsme nad tím nechtěli přemýšet 😀 Je to i u nás, ale to neznamená, že tam nemůžeme jít a bude to chutnat stejně. My nechtěli jsme nic extra “posh” ani jíst na hotelu, prostě něco normálního ať můžeme jít v klidu oblečení a nemusíme se fintit dlouho. A taky ať tam mají něco lehčího, protože měl parťák pořád žaludek na vodě :D. Já si tedy dala žebírka a byly moc dobrý. Hustý bylo, že během toho, co jsme jedli, tak do restaurace přišla policie, že někoho hledají a měli i fotku. Člověk si říká, aháá, tak tady běhá nějaký kriminálník :D. Ale bylo fajn, že všude byla samá policejní auta, byly blokované ulice a opravdu jste je viděli všude, takže se cítíte bezpěčně :).

Where to go for the NYE dinner? It was needed to book a place a few days in advance as all restaurants were becoming full. In the end we decided to go to TGI Friday’s as we didn’t want neither any too “posh” place neither the opposite. Just a place we can have a good food, sit for a while and not to prepare for it few hours (like make-up, fancy clothes etc.). This was perfect! I had baby ribs with sweet potato fries and it was so good! It was interesting that while we were having dinner the policemen came to the restaurant several times as they were looking for somebody. Ok. After that you don’t want to think about the fact there might be somebody dangerous outside :D. But it was great how the police cars were everywhere, roads were closed and you could nicely see how the policemen watch if everything is in order. So you feel pretty safe there!

Po večeři jsme se šli projít po Ocean Drive. V noci je obzvlášť krásná a obzvlášť takhle při Silvestru! Všude to svítilo, hrála hudba, hostesky vás lákali do jejich podniku a ta atmosféra na vás dýchne! My jsme v plánu žádnou party neměli. Nějak jsme to chtěli mít v klídku, druhý den si užít a pamatovat si to 😀 Jo a ten počet lidí na Ocean Drive už stačil a dooslavili jsme to jindy :). Mířili jsme na samotnou pláž, kde měl každou chvílí vypuknout ohňostroj! Jak já se na to těšila!

After the dinner we went for a walk on the Ocean Drive. It is so beautiful in the evening! Especially that day on the NYE! There were lights everywhere, music, hostess luring you to go to their place and simply, the atmosphere just gets you! We didn’t have party on our plan. The amount of people was enough on the street :D. We post-celebrated it later when we felt better :). We were heading to the beach where the fireworks were about to start any minute! I was so excited!

Ve vlogu na konci je celý ohňostroj vidět. Myslela jsem si, že se na pláž nevejdeme, ale nakonec tam bylo dost místa pro všechny! Z pláže byl skvělý výhled na celou Ocean Drive a jen se čekalo, kdy to vypukne. Vlastně se ani neodpočítávalo a jen se postupně zvyšoval počet tleskajících lidí a ohňostoje vybuchly! Bylo to skvělý! Někdo nám říkal, že ty ohňostroje trvají 45 minut, ale tento měl tak 20, ty delší jsou asi jinde v tom Downtown. Bylo to krásný slavit na pláži a slyšet vlny. Minulý rok to bylo na sněhu a letos na písku. To se mi líbí :D. Potom už bylo všude fakt dost lidí a bylo hezký vidět, jak jsou všichni v náladě vítající nový rok. Všichni se obímali, ten obrázek mám ještě očima 🙂 . Věřím, že jste nový rok přivítali taky krásně!

In the end of my vlog you can watch the fireworks and the atmosphere around it! I thought that we all couldn’t fit on the beach but in the end there was plenty of room left! There was such a nice view from the beach of the Ocean Drive. Everybody was just waiting until it’ll be there! Actually, there wasn’t the big counting how I am used to, you could just hear more and more hands clapping and there it was – the fireworks suddenly started! It was so amazing! Somebody told us the fireworks last around 45 minutes but they might meant something in Downtown, this one was around 20 minutes ish. It was so beautiful to celebrate New Year on the beach while hearing the sound of the waves. Wow. Last year we celebrated on the beach and this year on the sand. Yes, I like it :D. After the fireworks there were so many people everywhere 😀 It was so nice to see how everybody is celebrating in a good mood! People were hugging, kissing and still have that picture in front of my eyes now! I believe you all celebrated your NYE the way you desired!
